Steve Olson is the founder and Principal and has been involved in the insurance industry for over 30 years. He has worked as a top producer with a major insurance carrier, then as a senior consultant for two of the largest consulting firms in the country, as well as managing an office for 8 years. During his career he has helped companies from a variety of industries (from start-ups to major employers) to maintain cost effective and competitive benefit programs. With this broad experience and knowledge he has developed a unique perspective on the challenges that small and midsize firms face.
More About Steve
Steve received designations as both a Registered Health Underwriter and Certified Employee Benefit Specialist from the American College. He was born in Cherry Hill, New Jersey and as the son of an Air Force pilot moved around the country growing up. Ultimately Steve has made his home in Dunedin, Florida where he lives with his wife of nearly 30 years. He has two grown children who both recently graduated from USF and FSU. Steve enjoys cycling, tennis, pool, chess, ping pong and reading to name a few. He can often be found with his wife on their boat near St. Josephs Sound or riding the Pinellas Trail on weekends.
Steve is an active member on the Board of Directors for the Florida Gulfcoast Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
